Our Micro Jack Collection

These tools are for exquisite fossil preparation. The number 1 & 2 are used for the most delicate of delicate work, specifically under a microscope. They are very light weight and do not blow air on your fossil. The Micro Jack 1 is made to lock into place so it does not rotate. It is the lightest, most accurate and precise tool that we make.

Then we have the Micro Jack 3, 4, 5, & 6, as the numbers get larger so does the volume of air driving the stylus, which translates into more power. The Micro Jack 6 is a good degree gentler than the Paleo Aro however it still has a good matrix removal rate.

All of our Micro Jacks come in stubby version that are 4 1/2" in length as opposed to the standard 6 1/2" length Micro Jacks. Same length as the Micro Jack 1.

All of our Micro Jack tools have the capability to run at a lower pressure of 50 PSI. Just ask for our low pressure spring. They also can be purchased as non rotating if you need more precision and do not want your stylus to spin.

Micro Jack 1

Our Micro Jack 1 is the smallest most precise tool for the finest detail work under a microscope. The stylus does not rotate and hits in the same spot with every stroke. The stylus is ground to the finest point made of 3/64" diameter tungsten carbide. Runs at 90-120 psi and can be made to run as low as 40 psi. $745.00
